From Grade 1 we encourage all children to participate in the many extra-curricular activities that we have on offer.
• Eisteddfod – Children take part performing individual and group poetry. Singing and instruments are also part of the Eisteddfod. • Choir – The choir practices at second breaks and Friday afternoons. The choir takes part in choir festivals and performs for school functions. • Percussion group- instrumental group plays for Eisteddfod and school functions. • Drama Clubs – For both junior and senior learners. • Cooking club – Foundation Phase • Chess • Art clubs – both junior and senior- • Wildlife club – Grade 3 • Library – Open Mon – Thurs afternoons, reading club is a fun way to encourage reading • Computer club- for both junior and senior learners • Computer workshops are run on various google topics eg. designing games, coding etc. • Computer Centre is open most afternoons for research and project work • Concerts take place on a three year cycle – junior, senior, Arts Alive which is a talent show. • Christmas Nativity Show and Christmas market at the end of year. • Science Fair from Grade Four to Seven annually. • Private Music lessons on school premises: • Piano lessons • Guitar lessons • Drumming
