Intersen Phase

The Intersen phase includes learners in Grade 4, 5, 6 and 7. There are 4 classes in each grade.  This phase is headed up by Mrs Bosch and Mrs Schoultz. Learners in the intersen phase should all be able to read as they now start learning subjects – they read to learn. This phase consists of the following learning areas:

    • English
    • Afrikaans
    • Mathematics
    • Life Skills
    • Natural Sciences and Technology
    • Social Sciences (History and Geography)

Learners will write formal assessments (tests) at the end of each term and these will form part of their reports which are handed out at the end of each term.
In addition, learners participate in computer, music, physical education and library every week.
